Phoenix Park Strategic Review

The Office of Public Works has commissioned a review of the current visitor experience in the Phoenix Park and is looking to the public to let them know their vision of future enhancement of the Park. Some of the key findings from this review are available from phoenixpark.ie/visitor-experience-strategic-review/ and a draft report is available at the Phoenix Park Visitors Centre for viewing. The OPW welcomes observations to visitorpark@opw.ie before 12th April 2019

New Allotments in Bluebell

Dublin City Council is seeking applications from people who would like an allotment on the former site of ABC in Bluebell. To request an application form, email southcentral@dublincity.ie or call (01) 222 5200. There is an annual fee of €120 to rent an allotment and applicants must be resident within Dublin City Council. One application is permitted per household. 

Inchicore College of Further Education

Applications are now open at Inchicore College of Further Education for courses that are starting in September 2019. See http://www.inchicorecollege.ie for the full list of courses on offer. 

Shopfront Improvement Scheme

St. Patrick’s Festival at Marsh’s Library

As part of this year’s 5-day festival programme, on 14th March, Marsh’s Library will be organising guided tours on the half hour. Go along to hear stories about this 300 year old library and the history contained within it! There are even some books with bullet holes from gunfire hit the reading room during the 1916 Rising!
