LOVE8 Community Fair
A Community Fair called LOVE8 will take place in St. Patrick’s Cathedral on 26th February from 18:30 to 21:30. The event is being jointly organised by Dublin City Council, The Liberties Dublin Business Forum and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. It promises to be a great opportunity to learn about the many brilliant clubs, community groups, schools and businesses in Dublin 8. Entrance is free but you must reserve your ticket in advance. Draft Climate Change Action Plan
The four Dublin Local Authorities have been working together with the support of Codema (Dublin’s Energy Agency) to develop Climate Change Action Plans. The Dublin City Council plan covers five main themes: Resource Management, Energy & Buildings, Transport, Flood Resilience and Nature-Based Solutions. People are now being invited to make submissions on the proposals that are outlined in the plan and this consultation period lasts until 25th March 2019.

St. Patrick’s Festival at Marsh’s Library

As part of this year’s 5-day festival programme, on 14th March, Marsh’s Library will be organising guided tours on the half hour. Go along to hear stories about this 300 year old library and the history contained within it! There are even some books with bullet holes from gunfire hit the reading room during the 1916 Rising! Business Advice Group Clinic
Did you know that Dublin City Local Enterprise Office offers weekly two-hour group meetings with business advisors? This is a free service that gives you the chance to share your business ideas and get some direction if you are interested in starting your own business.
